A couple approached us about what they could do with two unencumbered properties.
We listened and understood the couple’s requirements and looked into their finances to see what was possible and came up with a few solutions, one of which was to re-mortgage and free up £410,000 in capital. A plan the couple agreed to.
We used the capital along with mortgages to purchase five properties. Our negotiating skills meant that we were able to make the purchases with £30,000 left over.
We managed the whole purchasing process along with a programme of refurbishment. We got each of the properties ready to let and sourced tenants ready to sign the tenancy agreements when the purchases completed.
The couple were able to make £4,000 per month after all costs and realise their dream of retirement.

Property Investment – Case Study 2
A client came to us with £55,000 of savings and asked us to find them an investment property in the local area.
House price inflation in Bicester has meant that we were unable to find an investment property in Bicester but we were aware of a new build development opportunity outside of the town.
We went to view the property development and secured a two-bedroom ground floor apartment with a rental return of £500 per month exclusive of all relevant fees. From that point, we instructed the solicitors, managed the purchase process and organised the property to be let. The total cost of the whole process for the client was £52,500 inclusive of Stamp Duty and all fees.
The property was only sourced due to Michelle’s connections with the bespoke builder.
