Areas we cover
From the spires of Oxford to the rolling hills of the Cotswolds, we know these areas inside out.
Few places balance city and countryside as easily as Oxfordshire.
Oxford itself draws buyers in for the incredible history, academic institutes, restaurants and shopping, culture on your doorstep and the fact you can get into London Marylebone in under an hour. Outside the city, places like Bicester, Kidlington and Banbury offer established communities with a wide range of properties.
Historic market towns such as Bicester, Henley, Abingdon, Thame, Witney, Burford, Chipping Norton and Woodstock all have their own distinct characters, with glorious countryside surrounding them. Oxfordshire villages offer something quieter with the buzz of the town nearby.
Demand stays steady here for a reason. There’s strong employment, excellent schools and good road links into both London and Birmingham. Rail connections have improved over time, which has only made it more attractive for commuters. From Georgian townhouses in the centre of Oxford to farmhouses and barn conversions in the surrounding areas – Oxfordshire gives buyers real choice depending on budget and lifestyle.
Buckinghamshire has always appealed to buyers who want to stay within reach of London but don't want London prices.
From buzzing towns to gorgeous countryside, with the Chilterns running through the county shaping a lot of its character. Towns like Princes Risborough, Wendover and Great Missenden feel rural, but still work for commuting. Amersham and Chesham are particularly popular because they sit on the Metropolitan line, making day-to-day travel into London much easier.
Villages like Brill, Oakley and Waddesdon are full of character with stunning scenery on the doorstep. Milton Keynes is a different market altogether – newer, growing quickly, and attracting a lot of first-time buyers and investors because of the jobs and infrastructure.
Places like Marlow – a Georgian market town on the River Thames – are consistently in demand, with buyers willing to pay for the setting and lifestyle. The grammar school system is also a big factor here. For many families, that alone is enough to keep Buckinghamshire firmly on the shortlist.
Northamptonshire doesn't always get the same attention – but that's part of its appeal.
Buyers who look here tend to stay. Northampton itself has seen steady investment, and the connections are better than people expect – London Euston is under an hour on the train. Towns like Daventry and Wellingborough widen the options further, especially for buyers who need to commute but want more space.
Value is the main draw. What you can buy here compared to Oxfordshire or Hertfordshire is noticeably different – larger homes, more land, and a bit more breathing room. The villages, places like Nassington, Fotheringhay and Guilsborough, are some of the best in the area.
Market towns such as Towcester, Oundle and Brackley have a settled, long-standing feel that appeals to buyers looking for something more established. The county also sits within a strong business corridor between Milton Keynes and Coventry, which helps keep both the sales and rental markets moving.
Famed for its rolling hills, honey-coloured stone villages and open countryside, the Cotswolds offers a way of living that is increasingly sought after.
It’s also evolved in recent years. Alongside its traditional charm, destinations like Soho Farmhouse and Estelle Manor have brought a more refined, lifestyle-led edge. Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water, Chipping Campden and Moreton-in-Marsh remain some of the most recognised addresses.
Stow-on-the-Wold, Tetbury, Charlbury and Chipping Norton, along with the villages around Cirencester, offer just as much character with a slightly quieter feel. Cheltenham, on the edge of the Cotswolds, adds another dimension – with its Regency architecture, well-regarded schools and established events calendar.
Despite its rural feel, the Cotswolds is very well connected. The M4 and M5 are within easy reach, and rail links make access to London straightforward. People that live in the Cotswolds love the setting, the community, the history and lifestyle – and the long-term appeal.
