Santander SVR increasing from 4.24% to 4.74%

Announcement from Santander:

Following a review of our variable mortgage interest rates, on 24 September we’re increasing the Cap Margin for selected Santander mortgage customers and also announcing our intention to increase Santander’s Standard Variable Rate (SVR) from 4.24% to 4.74% from 3rd October 2012.
