21st June, 2017

Michelle Niziol, Director of IMS Property Group, has been elected vice-president of ARLA Propertymark (Association of Residential Letting Agents), effective from Friday 16 June.

After an extensive application process and vote by ARLA members, Michelle Niziol beat off three other strong candidates to be awarded the position of vice-president.

Michelle’s new position is part of a newly elected presidential team with Sally Lawson succeeding Nik Madan as president and Peter Savage as president-elect.

Commenting on her appointment, Niziol says: “I am over the moon to have been elected to this position. Managing a letting and sales business as well as my own portfolio of buy to let properties, I feel I have a wealth of knowledge and expertise to share with ARLA Propertymark and letting agents across the country. I want to play a key role in driving change in the letting industry for years to come.”

ARLA Propertymark is the UK’s foremost professional and regulatory body for letting agents; representing over 9,000 members. The body campaigns for greater regulation in this growing and increasingly important sector of the property market. By using an ARLA Propertymark Protected agent, consumers have the peace of mind their agent will provide a professional service and their money is safeguarded by Propertymark’s Client Money Protection scheme.
