Bicester housing market remains buoyant

14th March, 2017

The Bicester housing market is buoyant with properties that are well presented and correctly priced selling well, according to IMS Independent Property Solutions.

Buyers and sellers are more confident about the local housing market conditions and IMS Property Solutions is seeing an increase in the number of homebuyers looking to move into the area from nearby towns and as far as London.

The lettings market is also buoyant with demand for rental accommodation outstripping supply. Buy-to-let property investments remain a strong performer against savings and other vehicles of investment. With strong demand for rental accommodation and attractive yields, now is a good time for investors to expand their buy-to-let portfolios or invest in property for the first time.

“Bicester has long been popular with buyers and tenants looking to move to Oxfordshire but cannot afford the higher prices of Oxford. People are attracted by the town’s good road and rail links for London, the Midlands and the North, the range of amenities and good schools as well as the range of properties on offer, says Michelle Niziol, Director of IMS.

“The town’s garden city status has led to huge regeneration within the town, creating new shops, jobs and thousands of new homes, which is also proving highly attractive to buyers and tenants.”
