60 second interview with Michelle Niziol on Landlord Today

11th May, 2017

IMS Director Michelle Niziol took part in a quick fire 60-second interview with publication Landlord Today.

Here’s what Michelle has to say about why you should use IMS for your lettings services, the business’s plans for the future and what Michelle thought about her time on The Apprentice.

What does it say on your business card?
Michelle Niziol, managing director, IMS Independent Lettings Solutions Limited.

Who are IMS Independent Lettings Solutions Limited and how long have you been trading?
We are an independent ARLA registered letting agent and have been trading for 18 months.

What is your background and what drew you to starting the business?
I have been a mortgage advisor for more than 12 years and have always been extremely passionate about property. I built the property businesses (sales and letting) around my financial services business so that I could offer my clients a range of services to meet their property needs.

What is unique about IMS Independent Lettings Solutions?
Our business slogan is ‘Homes without the Hassle’. We genuinely want every property transaction to be as seamless as possible for our clients. We have a fantastic team who care so much about the client’s property journey.

Why should landlords use your firm?
We provide exceptional customer service – we only have 5 star reviews on Facebook and Google. I recently launched a property buying and refurbishment service which has been used by landlords who are looking to expand their portfolios and prepare properties for letting. This includes buying properties, carrying out refurbishment works, finding tenants and managing the lettings portfolio.

What plans do you have for the business this year and beyond?
Our intention is to keep expanding the business and assisting as many landlords as we can.

What’s your prediction for the letting market for the rest of 2017?
I think the letting market will remain strong and property continues to be a great investment.

What do you consider to be the biggest challenge facing the property market?
The lack of housing, especially affordable housing in the areas where it is needed most.

What was it like being a candidate on The Apprentice 2016?
It was fantastic. Just to be chosen as a candidate was amazing. The process was the toughest thing I have ever experienced but it taught me some valuable lessons that I have taken and implemented into my businesses.
